Is the CV score really free?
Yes, completely. Upload your CV and get a full ATS score with breakdown — no account required, no payment needed. You only need a subscription to unlock job matching, AI CV rewriting, and template downloads.
What does ATS mean and why does it matter in Malta?
ATS stands for Applicant Tracking System — software used by Malta's top iGaming, fintech and legal firms to automatically screen CVs before a human ever reads them. If your CV scores below ~60, it gets rejected before any recruiter sees it. That's true even if you're perfectly qualified.
How does job matching work?
After uploading your CV, our AI analyses your skills, experience, sector and seniority. It then matches you against live Malta vacancies. You only see roles you are genuinely qualified for — with a match score and a direct apply link to the original job posting.

Is FreeMalta Jobs only for people already in Malta?
No. FreeMalta Jobs is built for anyone targeting Malta's job market — whether you're already in Malta, planning to relocate, or applying remotely. Our salary benchmarks and matching are specific to Malta's iGaming, fintech, legal and tech sectors.
What file formats does CV upload accept?
PDF, DOC and DOCX files up to 10MB. PDF is strongly recommended — it preserves formatting and produces the most accurate ATS analysis.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, always. Cancel anytime and you retain full access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
Do you sell my CV or personal data?
Never. Your CV is processed to generate your score and matches, then handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR. We do not sell, share or transmit your personal data to third parties.
Am I Ready to Relocate to Malta?
Upload your CV and our platform will tell you — based on your sector, salary expectation, experience level and language skills — whether the Malta job market has active demand for your profile right now. We also show you what salary range to expect, and what Single Permit requirements apply to your nationality.

2.2 Payment data
Payment processing is handled by Revolut / Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials. We retain only subscription status and billing dates.
2.3 Usage data
IP address (anonymised after 24 hours), browser and device type
Pages visited and features used (via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation)
Preferences saved in your browser's localStorage — this data never leaves your device
2.4 What we do NOT collect
We do not sell your CV, personal data or career information to any third party — ever
We do not share your data with employers or recruiters without your explicit consent
We do not build behavioural advertising profiles on individual users
3. How We Use Your Data
CV scoring: To analyse your CV and generate ATS scores, job matches and salary benchmarks
Service delivery: To provide subscribed features including CV rewriting, templates and job matching
Analytics: To understand platform usage and improve the service (Google Analytics 4)
Communications: To respond to support enquiries and send subscription-related emails
Legal compliance: To comply with Maltese and EU law including GDPR
4. Legal Basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Contract performance — processing your CV and delivering subscription features (Art. 6(1)(b))
Legitimate interests — analytics and platform improvement (Art. 6(1)(f))

5. Data Retention
CV files: deleted within 30 days of upload unless you have an active account
Account data: retained while your account is active plus 90 days after deletion
Analytics data: 14 months in Google Analytics
Payment records: 7 years (legal requirement)
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@freemalta.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Maltese IDPC.

1. The Service
FreeMalta Jobs provides AI-powered CV scoring, job matching, and career intelligence tools for Malta's job market. The platform is not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee employment or interview outcomes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use FreeMalta Jobs. By using the platform, you confirm you are legally entitled to work in your target jurisdiction.
3. Account and Subscriptions
Free CV scoring requires no account. Subscriptions require registration with a valid email address.
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time.
Subscription queries (job matches) are allocated per billing month and do not roll over.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not:
Upload CVs or documents on behalf of others without their explicit consent
Use automated tools to scrape, extract or bulk-process platform outputs
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications or employment history
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose under Maltese or EU law
Resell, redistribute or commercially exploit platform outputs without written permission
5. Intellectual Property
The FreeMalta Jobs platform, design, code, scoring methodology, salary benchmark data and all original content are the intellectual property of Fierce & Tame Limited. You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute these without written permission.
6. Disclaimer
ATS scores, job matches and salary benchmarks are provided for informational purposes. They do not guarantee employment outcomes. FreeMalta Jobs is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party job listings accessed through the platform.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Maltese law, Fierce & Tame Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of FreeMalta Jobs.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day.
What Happens After Cancellation
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
You retain full access to all subscribed features during this period
No further charges are made after cancellation
Your account and CV data are retained for 90 days, then deleted
You may reactivate at any time — your history will be available within the 90-day window
Unused Queries
Job match queries are allocated per billing month. Unused queries do not roll over to the next month and are not refundable upon cancellation. We recommend using your queries before cancelling.
Downgrading Your Plan
You may downgrade from Power to Pro or Basic at any time. The new plan takes effect at the next billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for the difference within the current month.
We stand behind the quality of FreeMalta Jobs. If you're not satisfied with your first subscription payment, we offer a straightforward refund within 7 days.

7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If this is your first subscription payment and you are not satisfied with the service, you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of payment. No questions asked.
To request a refund: email hello@freemalta.com with subject "Refund Request" and your account email address. We process refunds within 5 business days.
After the 7-Day Period
Refunds are not available for the current billing period after 7 days from first payment
Refunds are not available for renewal charges (subsequent months)
You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges
Unused job match queries within a billing month are not refundable
Exceptions
We will issue a refund outside the 7-day window in cases of:
Duplicate charges due to a technical error
Charges made after a confirmed cancellation request
Service unavailability exceeding 72 consecutive hours

EU Consumer Rights
As a service based in Malta (EU), you are protected by the EU Consumer Rights Directive. For digital services, your right of withdrawal is 14 days from the date of purchase, unless you have already begun using the service. By uploading a CV or using any subscription feature, you acknowledge that service has commenced and the 14-day statutory period is replaced by our 7-day satisfaction guarantee.
