“Last ferry” is the wrong question until you name the route. Missing the last fast ferry from Valletta does not necessarily mean there is no way to Gozo that night—but the alternative starts at Ċirkewwa.
Plan the second journey
Gozo Channel says its Ċirkewwa–Mġarr service operates 24 hours, subject to weather and operational conditions. The route board shows the scheduled direction; confirm the actual sailing with the operator.
Gozo High Speed’s Valletta and Sliema/Buġibba timetables contain date-dependent late departures. Valletta Ferry Services publishes separate summer and winter service windows for its harbour routes. A “late ferry” seen in one season may not exist on the date you travel.
