Where does the market data come from?

Market data is sourced from multiple financial APIs including Finnhub for US stocks, Yahoo Finance for indices and commodities, and Frankfurter for forex. Cryptocurrency data is provided by CoinGecko. Prediction markets data is sourced from Polymarket public API.

What are prediction markets?

Prediction markets are platforms where people trade on the outcomes of future events. Prices reflect the crowd probability estimate. A market trading at 75% means participants collectively believe there is a 75% chance that event will occur. News Beast displays live prediction markets from Polymarket, the world largest decentralised prediction market.

What are penny stocks?

Penny stocks are low-priced shares typically trading below $5, known for high volatility and speculative trading. News Beast tracks popular high-volatility stocks including GameStop GME, AMC Entertainment AMC, Sundial Growers SNDL and Clover Health CLOV. News Beast Markets tracks five precious and industrial metals: Gold XAU, Silver XAG, Platinum XPT, Palladium XPD and Copper HG. Prices are displayed in USD.
