Elizabeth Hurley has put a clear, practical label on a celebrity relationship that has mostly been narrated through photos, rings and lifestyle compatibility. Speaking on the “Off Air with Jane & Fi” podcast, Hurley said she and Billy Ray Cyrus are “going to live together” while she films Season 2 of Peacock’s “The ’Burbs” in Los Angeles.
That is the news: not a vague “stronger than ever,” not a jewel doing the publicist’s job, but a shared address tied to work. In celebrity coverage, domestic logistics are often the closest thing to a real status update.
Hurley said she was looking forward to a “Californian winter” during the production period. She also described Cyrus as someone who goes to bed “extremely early,” a detail that sounds minor but does useful work here. Cohabitation is ordinary, even boring, which is partly why it reads as significant. The performance of romance tends to be all sparkle and itinerary; living together is laundry, bedtime and whose climate wins.
She framed the relationship as easier because both of them are “empty nesters,” with adult children and fewer family logistics than in earlier relationships. Hurley has one son, Damian, and Cyrus has six children, including Miley Cyrus. That does not prove emotional serenity, obviously, but it does explain the kind of life-stage pitch Hurley is making: less blended-family chaos, more grown-up companionship with property preferences.
The countryside remains part of that pitch. Hurley said Cyrus, who lives in Tennessee, has come to love time in rural England, partly because of the difference from the heat and humidity he experiences in the US. In past interviews cited by Page Six and People, the couple have described splitting time between his farm in Tennessee and her home in England, presenting the relationship less as a red-carpet pairing than a two-estate merger with guitars and garden tools.
Page Six also reported that the pair are engaged, citing Hurley being seen wearing a large diamond ring, though Hurley’s podcast comments were about living arrangements rather than an engagement announcement.
Hurley and Cyrus made their relationship public in 2025 after meeting on the set of “Christmas in Paradise” and reconnecting later. If that first chapter was sold as an unexpected celebrity pairing, this one is much less camp and more concrete: she has a series to shoot in Los Angeles, and he is moving in.
