One vessel can create two different search results: “Sliema to Gozo” and “Buġibba to Gozo”. They are stages of the same coastal service, not interchangeable departure times.
Board at the time for your stop
If you start in Sliema, read the Sliema column. If you start in Buġibba, read the Buġibba column. The boat calls there before continuing to Mġarr, and Gozo-to-Malta services call there on the way back. Some departures have seasonal or weekend notes, so check the exact date.
Transport Malta says the route launched in May 2026 as an alternative to road travel. It carries passengers, not cars. Compare the Sliema–Gozo and Buġibba–Gozo route pages, then verify the latest schedule with Gozo High Speed.
Starting in Valletta? The Valletta–Gozo service is a different fast-ferry line; do not assume it calls at Buġibba.
