Rolls-Royce (BMW Group)
1904
The Silver Ghost benchmark and the "Best Car in the World" legacy

1998
The BMW asset acquisition and the Goodwood estate construction
Following the corporate separation from Bentley, BMW secured absolute rights to the Rolls-Royce automotive brand. Rather than updating existing factories, BMW built a state-of-the-art global headquarters and manufacturing facility on the historic Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.
2003
The modern Phantom launch and the return of bespoke dominance
Rolls-Royce launched the majestic seventh-generation Phantom, an architectural masterpiece that redefined 21st-century luxury. The vehicle introduced an advanced aluminum spaceframe chassis and re-established the brand's supremacy at the apex of international ultra-luxury transport.
2026
The Spectre EV expansion and unprecedented bespoke margins
By mid-2026, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars successfully scaled customer deliveries of the Spectre, its highly acclaimed all-electric luxury coupe. Under the guidance of parent company BMW, the Goodwood facility operated at peak efficiency, driven by record-high demand for ultra-premium Coachbuild projects.
Bugatti
1909
The Ettore Bugatti artistic genesis and early motorsport glory
Ettore Bugatti established the legendary brand in Molsheim, treating automotive engineering as pure art. Type 35 race cars achieved legendary status across Europe, but financial collapse and the tragic death of Ettore's son Jean led to the company's eventual dissolution after World War II.
1998
The Ferdinand Piëch acquisition and the 1,001 HP Veyron record
Volkswagen purchased the Bugatti rights, and chief engineer Ferdinand Piëch ordered the construction of a vehicle that defied normal physics: the Bugatti Veyron. Powered by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine, it broke the 250 mph barrier and re-established the hypercar segment.
2021
The revolutionary joint venture fusion with EV pioneer Rimac
Volkswagen restructured its ultra-luxury portfolio, placing Bugatti into an innovative joint venture named Bugatti Rimac. Under the arrangement, Mate Rimac's Rimac Group controlled 55% of the entity, while Porsche retained a 45% stake to marry French heritage with electric powertrain expertise.
2026
The historic Porsche equity exit and HOF Capital consortium buyout
In a monumental industry shift, Porsche signed a definitive agreement to fully divest its 45% stake in Bugatti Rimac and its 20.6% position in Rimac Group to an international consortium led by HOF Capital and BlueFive Capital. The transaction handed absolute strategic control to Rimac Group.
